Review: Standard Food, Below-Average Service at 16th and Broadway Rating: ★★★☆☆ I generally have realistic expectations when pulling into a McDonald’s, but my recent experience at the 16th and Broadway location fell squarely into the "mediocre" category. While the food itself was exactly what you’d expect—hot, salted, and consistent—the service side of the operation was significantly lacking, making the overall visit more frustrating than it needed to be. The first major issue was the efficiency. Even for a city location, the wait times were much longer than normal. I watched the drive-thru line crawl forward at a snail's pace, and it wasn't even during the peak lunch or dinner rush. It felt as though the internal workflow was either understaffed or simply disorganized, which is disappointing when you're specifically choosing "fast food" for the sake of convenience. The most off-putting part of the visit, however, was the attitude of the drive-thru staff. When I finally reached the window, I wasn’t greeted with even a basic "hello" or "that'll be $10.00." Instead, the interaction felt incredibly dismissive. When I tried to double-check that I had a specific sauce in the bag, the employee gave a heavy sigh and a dismissive wave of the hand, barely making eye contact before sliding the window shut. It’s a shame because the location is convenient, but the lack of basic professionalism and the sluggish pace make it hard to recommend over other nearby options. If you’re in a massive hurry or hoping for a friendly interaction to start your day, you might want to keep driving.

3 times over the past 3 months, I've gone to this location for breakfast. 3 times they've messed my order up. I order the same thing every time from whichever location, and they never mess up. I get the steak, egg and cheese bagel, and they always give me a sausage, egg and cheese bagel, OR they don't even give me a patty, and I get egg and cheese. I know the difference between sausage and the steak patties. They look and taste different. That's just for breakfast. Then if you call and talk to a worker/manager they take your info including your address and number, then never make it right. When you're spending over $10 on a meal it shouldn't be hard to do it the right way or make it right. I wouldn't go to this location, try the other location in CB or just go to Omaha.

Very poor workers. App says it is open 24 hours and he had the audacity to get mad at me for wanting food at 4 am but he refused to cook anything cause there were "no cooks". I call bs. Even if there were only 3 people working, you can spare 5 minutes to cook a few mcnuggets and big Mac. It was ridiculous, and I did not appreciate his tone. My app let me order my food and I ending up with nothing. He ruined my great night. Need a better app. Need better workers. Do better McDonald's. I am not mclovin it. I McHate you right now. Do better.

Guy bringing.out food for cars waiting was demanding a father's day tip and then gotpissy and almost threatening about not.getting one. very uncalled for and unprofessional. reported to management who said she would talk to him.

I order coffee from here two to three sometimes four times a day and it is never right, very rarely do I get my coffee right. And when I want my coffee remade or I say it’s not right they want to get upset. Coming from someone that worked ten years in an actual restaurant you should never complain about having to do FAST FOOD the right way. I am fixing to stop ordering from here and order somewhere else.
