Ben Gilland 4 months agoThis place has really gone downhill over the last few months. Visit was on March 7 around mid-day. I went through the drive-through while getting gas at HEB and ordered an ice cream. I opened it about 500 feet away while pumping gas and it looked exactly like the photo I attached. I could not believe they actually served it like that. I went back inside and waited in the lobby for about 5 minutes to speak with a manager. I asked a staff member if a manager could come out, but no one ever did. It was not clear that the request was even passed along. The employee barely acknowledged me and just walked away. After waiting a while longer, I threw the ice cream in the trash and left. Pretty frustrating experience. Poor quality food and no one available to address the problem. This also was not a one-off issue. My last few visits have had problems too. Orders with mayo when the app clearly said “no mayo.” Paying for two McDoubles and only getting one. Sometimes the completely wrong food. Early mornings used to be more reliable. The weekend and evening crew lately has been rough.
Christopher Marquez 6 months agoAbsolutely trash! the manager had a huge attitude and tried to charge me for sweet amd sour sauce when I ordered nuggets and the drive through person was too stupid to put it in the bag. The hamburger looked like it it was in an MMA fight with an employee the patty looks pre chewed. $8 an hour is far too much to be paid for this level of quality. this place should Absolutely be closed until their service and food quality is improved.
justin lcous 2 months agoA McDonald's location that consistently gets everything right! This McDonald's in Austin is one of the best run fast food locations I have ever visited. The food is always fresh hot and prepared exactly as ordered and the service is impressively fast and accurate even during the busiest peak hours. The drive-thru moves at a remarkable pace and the staff is consistently friendly and efficient making every visit quick and genuinely pleasant. The restaurant is always clean and well maintained throughout the day which is always a great sign of a well managed location. Whether you are grabbing a quick breakfast coffee or a classic meal McDonald's in Austin delivers a reliably satisfying experience every single time and this particular location stands out as one of the very best!
J H 3 weeks agoAs someone who has experienced homelessness and true hunger, I know exactly what it means to stretch every single dollar just to survive. For many families right now, a meal at McDonald's isn't a simple convenience, it is a significant financial splurge. To spend what little you have, only to open the bag and discover that items paid for were left out, is devastating. When you are living on the margins, a missing item isn't a minor inconvenience; it means someone goes without a meal. I understand that corporations are aggressively cutting costs, but allowing basic quality control to fail at the expense of your customers is unacceptable. Treating a missing meal as just another statistical error, rather than a real hardship for the person who paid for it, feels needlessly cruel. I am not writing this to ask for a refund, and I do not want free food. I am writing this because I want you to truly understand the real, human impact of your service. Please remember the people on the other side of the counter, and simply do better.
General Malice (Malice Media LLC.) a year agoWas hungry before I had to meet with some people for a video shoot. Wanted to grab a quick bite so I like to get a Happy meal add two patties and a single cheese to make it a triple double. Normally adds $2.70 which is the same price of a double so just have it all in one sandwich with out to all the extra bread. I ordered my food and for whatever reason these had to put the meat on the side allowing it to get cold. I never have an issue with any other location about putting the meat on the sandwich, especially the way it's ordered. In fact, most locations if they add the patties to the hamburger that's $0.70 but most locations are hip to the fact that people don't know this and they charge you for the dollar Add a Patty so it can it just be hit or miss your experience.
